Learning Journey

As part of the learning network to the Pro-Family Business initiative, the Learning Journey offers a platform for the Mark community to come together and gain knowledge of some successful best practices. Model companies will be invited to offer an insight into their management system and their route towards the deployment of pro-family practices.

The PFB secretariat will be organizing six sets of Learning Journeys for the period of May 08 - March 09. Pro-Family Business Markers representing different industries will be selected to lead the workshop so as to offer a diversified learning experience for the community.

We are very honoured to have Mindchamps to host our fifth Learning Journey this coming July.

Pro-Family Business Inaugural Conference - 15th May 2008

As part of the Pro-Family Business (PFB) learning platform, the PFB Workgroup has organized the Inaugural PInaugural Conference to provide insights on the strategic approach towards formulating the corporate vision, leading to the implementation of key programmes and activities that welcome and cater to families.

During the conference, participants would:

1. Be exposed to the best practices of companies whom are known for creating customized pro-family social environment, services & products.

2. Understand the key issues and challenges faced by the companies in implementing pro-family frameworks; and how they have overcome the challenges faced.

3. Network, share, harvest ideas and learn with peers in a cross section of industries and sectors.

4. Discuss common issues and solutions.
