Overview
The Pro-Family Business (PFB) Mark – spearheaded by the Making Businesses Pro-Family Workgroup co-chaired by Ms Claire Chiang (Managing Director, Banyan Tree Gallery) and Mrs Mildred Tan (Managing Director, Ernst and Young Associates) and supported by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), signals a new stage in the Making Business Pro-Family Initiative. The PFB Mark underscores the potential business value that can be derived from targeting families as customers. Particularly, findings from a MCYS study found that businesses which are pro-family make more money as compared to those that are not. Businesses which meet specific standards relating to their Strategy, Service, Infrastructure and Business Outcomes (Results) will be awarded the PFB Mark. |
