Strategy |
Mission |
Incorporated into The Little Skool-House’s mission of providing quality early childhood care and education is an active tripartite collaboration between our parents, children and teachers.
Through the Epstein’s Framework of Six Types of Involvement, covering the key areas of Parenting, Communicating, Volunteering, Learning at Home, Decision Making and Collaboration with the Community, parents are encouraged to take on a more active and formalised role in their children’s learning. |
Product & Service Mix |
By providing the child with the right combination of an ideal environment, committed educators, excellent programmes and pro-family practices, the centre aims to develop children to excel physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
To continue to remain relevant and attractive to families, The Little Skool-House conducts an annual benchmarking exercise on its competitors’ service offerings and pricing structures. A bi-annual parent survey is also conducted to understand the needs of parents. |
Marketing & Promotions |
To help strengthen family bonds, there is an annual calendar of Community Learning and Parent Support programmes, such as workshops, talks and support groups to meet different parenting and family needs.
Selected branches of The Little Skool-House have their operating hours extended until 8pm, with dinner provided, to cater to parents who work late. Emergency care services are available for parents upon request. |

The marketing team conducts centre visits and audits to ensure that all level of staff delivers quality service. |
Nurturing service care |
To nurture service care, open communication between parents and teachers on the development of the children are emphasized. The various Little Skool-House centres conduct regular sharing sessions with parents. They encourage parents to participate in the children’s activities by practicing an “Open Door Policy”. Teachers are also encouraged to communicate with parents frequently through emails, phone calls, during drop-off and pick-up time and a communication booklet. |

To assure parents who entrust their children to the care of The Little Skool-House, all staff are trained on safety and security procedures that include Crisis Management and Handling of Accidents and Injuries.
Furniture at all the centres are purpose-built, have rounded edges, with appropriate height adjustments and weighted base and other safety features include safety gates, cable protectors, and door knobs and power points are elevated beyond the reach of children.
