eXplorerkid |
Overview |
eXplorerkid is a family-friendly club for families with children aged 12 and younger. We operate the largest indoor park in Singapore –eXplorerkid Family Park – at E!hub in Downtown East. eXplorerkid is part of NTUC Club’s leisure and entertainment arm. eXplorerkid Indoor Family Park is the largest themed indoor playground in Singapore for families with children under 12. Spanning 35,000 sq ft, there are fun and challenging play stations for kids, and wellness and relaxation facilities for accompanying parents and guardians. |

eXplorerkid encourage learning through exploration. To transport the young to a fantasy world of learning and discovery, the eXplorerkid Family Park is a highly-tactile playground designed around amystical forest theme. As the children explore the eXplorerkid Family Park’s Mystical Forest, they are exposed to more than 10 fun-play obstacles and educational elements. |
Product & Service Mix |
Apart from the Family Park, eXplorerkid has play areas such as The Cliff for children aged between 4 and12, Lit Ball Pits for children below 3 and above to have fun in.
Facilities such as Slumberland which is a quiet space for adults who want to rest and relax on special reclining chairs while waiting for their children and The Mound which is a designated health and wellness corner for adults. The adult facilities makes eXplorerkid a family-oriented environment where parents, grandparents and children can enjoy themselves in the same location |
Marketing & Promotions |
More emphasis is being put into marketing eXplorerkid as a Family club due the activities and facilities put in place. Activities such as DIY Crystal Bracelet for Mother’s Day encourage children to bond with their mothers more when they prepare a gift for that special occasion.
Marketing is currently done via eXplorerkids’ websites and also linkages with unions such as “U Family” |
Service |
Service Attitude |
The staff in charge of safety has a certificate from the US for playground safety. The safety officer in turn trained the rest of the team what hazards to look out for. This is also to ensure both safety and fun can co-exist in the same venue and activity.
All full and part time staff are trained and re-trained in giving the best and fun customer service. eXplorerkid engage an external professional to impart service knowledge and child handling techniques to them. |
Nurturing service care |
Most staff now can do ad hoc entertainment such as simple magic tricks and balloon sculpting to delight the younger ones. Staff are encouraged to engaged in conversation with kids and adults whenever they can. |
Safety first |
The whole club floor is insulated against falls and most vertical areas are padded and as well as sharp corners.
To ensure the safety and well-being of the customers there are 2 ball pools for the different age groups. This is to ensure that younger children do not get roughed up by older ones while playing |

Access & Layout |
The playground is also checked by safety officers every day. This is following safety certifications from the United States.
The whole park and the play elements built to be wheelchair friendly. |
Facilities |
The space is equipped with 20 sets of exercise and health check equipments from OSIM. Parents and guardians can now keep fit or enjoy a foot massage while waiting for their young charges who are also having fun exercising in the rest of the Family Park. |
